Special adviser for studies and development - Patricia Wastiau

Patricia Wastiau is a Special Adviser for Studies and Development at European Schoolnet. She is specialised in public policy analysis in education and knowledge-based policy-making. Previously, she worked for around 10 years at Eurydice, the information network on education in Europe, being Deputy Director and since 2001 Director of the Eurydice European unit.

At Eurydice, she was coordinating the whole network of national units based in the ministries in charge of education, specialising in comparative analysis of education systems and policies. Patricia Wastiau has also extensive experience of leading and participating in European research projects and programmes (Socrates, OECD Local Employment Initiative) in education, research, employment and urban development throughout Europe. And last but not least, we have been told that during her leisure time she is passionate about architecture and music.
