Communication officer: Silvia Spinoso

Silvia Spinoso joined the EUN Office in September 2003 as a trainee. In September 2004, she was appointed as a member of the teacher's support team for the eTwinning project.

She is the main contact person for the eTwinning National Support Services (NSSs). She is the communication and event officer for eTwinning, Spring Day. Future Energia, Xplora and Development Youth Prize. She is the coordinator of the evaluation of the Green Week competition for schools.

Before joining the EUN, Silvia Spinoso completed a six-month traineeship as a member of the Communication Office at INDIRE, the national Institute of Documentation for Innovation and Educational Research that collaborates with the Italian Ministry of Education over training courses for teachers and head teachers.

She has a background in classical and historical studies, with a degree cum laude in Political Science (University of Florence, Italy). Her thesis has been published in 2005 (La lobby delle donne: Legge Merlin e C.I.D.D. Un modo diverso di fare politica, Rubbettino, 2005)
