Last chance to take part in European Schoolnet's Games in School Survey
Author: EUN News
European Schoolnet is undertaking a major study on the use of games in schools in Europe, financed by the Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE). The aim of the study is to investigate to what extent games are used in schools across Europe, generate awareness and produce recommendations, practical examples and guidance for teachers, policy makers and the games industry.
The study defines electronic games in a broad sense covering video games, computer games, online games that run on consoles, computers, handhelds or mobile phones.
The teachers' survey examines the contextual environment for the integration of games in school education, their current uptake and use by teachers and learners, barriers to their use and examples of good practice. So whether or not you use games in the classroom, we are keen to hear your views. The survey exists in 8 languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Estonian and Lithuanian), and can be accessed online or in word format from our blog, at: http://games.eun.org. By taking part in the survey which will be open until the end of November 2008, you stand the chance of winning Xbox 360 Elites and video games!
