eTwinning Working Group two meets in Brussels Author: EUN News
The first eTwinning meeting of the new school year took place in Brussels on 7 September 2006 between the Central Support Service (CSS) and representatives of the National Support Services (NSS). The meeting brought together members of the eTwinning Work Group two which deals with matters of pedagogy and quality issues to discuss upcoming eTwinning activities planned for the 2006-2007 school year.
The theme of the meeting was an overview of the activities planned for the promotion of eTwinning as well as an introduction to the eTwinning prizes, the programme for the Professional Development Workshops and the awarding of the European Quality label for eTwinning.
24 of the 26 NSS were represented and 31 persons attended the meeting. The CSS was represented by Anne Gilleran, Brigitte Parry, Santi Scimeca, Sylvia Binger, Christine Crawley and Silvia Spinoso. Eugenio Riviere represented the European Commission and introduced the new financial expert for the eTwinning Unit, Marie-Claire Ndarugirire.
