home > Media services > News > CALIBRATE partners meet in Warsaw CALIBRATE partners meet in Warsaw CALIBRATE partners had their third project meeting in Warsaw on 7-8 September 2006. The aim of the meeting was to take stock of the work done for the launch of the first version of the CALIBRATE portal, for the 70 schools participating in the project validation exercise. The project is on target to link six learning content repositories from Ministries of Education by the end of September 2006. Following the meeting, the project will install in the portal the first operational version of a 'learning toolbox'. This collaborative learning environment allows teachers and pupils to develop community-driven, learning content repositories and also to carry out collaborative learning activities using both content developed by the schools themselves and resources found using the CALIBRATE system."
