Professional Development Workshops for eTwinning

The European Professional Development Workshops for eTwinning continue their successful series with three being held within the last month, in Slovenia, Germany and Slovakia with a combined teacher involvement of over 220 teachers from 25 countries.
The workshop in Slovenia took place in Nova Gorica from the 19-21 April 2007. The audience for this workshop were teachers of foreign languages and they spent the weekend in a series of practical workshops for eTwinning. The workshop in Germany was for the more advance eTwinning teachers who came together from 4–6 May 2007 in Bonn.
They attended workshops in a variety of subjects including podcasting, adavnce use of the twinspace and intercultural communication. The Slovakian workshop took place in Bratislava from the 10–12 May 2007 and in conjuction with the workshop, enjoyed a varied cultural programme.
The team from the CSS included Anne Gilleran, Christina Crawley and Sylvia Binger. The final workshop will be held in Tallinn, Estonia from the 7–10 June 2007.
