Schools in Europe can participate to various activities through the eTwinning Portal:

• Starter Kits: Schools sign up to one of the special eTwinning Starter Kits to get involved in a short-term starter project right away.
• Events: Special activities and competitions are taking place in each country as organised by NSS.
• Project Lottery:  Schools register a project during the eTwinning Weeks and enter a weekly lottery to win an iRiver for their class.
• eCard: eTwinners can send eCards to their friends and project partners.
• Teachers’ Blog: Schools share and discuss their experiences with others through the Teachers Blog.
• eTwinning Prizes 2008: Schools can begin to submit their applications for the top European prizes (projects registered between 1 April 2006 and 30 June 2007)
