Romania Joins eTwinning
Author: EUN News

As from 1 October 2007, Romania is a new participant in the eTwinning network. Only a month since the opening day, many Romanian schools showed their interest and some of them are already registered as partners.

eTwinning is a framework for schools to collaborate on the Internet with partner schools in other European countries. Various activities are established to promote school collaboration in any subject area. For instance, being a partner one can participate in workshops or sign for a competition with great awards.

Primary and secondary schools and teachers are welcome to become partners. For more information about eTwinning in Romania, please contact the coordinator: Simona Velea. The National Support Service (NSS) for eTwinning in Romania is located in Bucharest, as part of the Institute for Education Sciences (Institutul de Stiinte ale Educatiei).
