eTwinning Weeks 2007: A Successful Campaign
Author: EUN News

The “eTwinning Weeks 2007” campaign proved to be an even bigger success this year as it brought in registrations from over 3,600 new schools as well as over 800 new projects. During the weeks from 17 September 2007 - 19 October 2007, schools across Europe participated in various activities.

The special weeks also saw the total number of registered schools in Europe surpass the 30,000 mark. The number of schools continues to increase every day and the team hopes to welcome many more throughout the fall term.

  • Schools participated in a number of initiatives via the eTwinning Portal:
  • eTwinning Starter Kit projects
  • Project Lottery
  • Recommendation Raffle
  • Teachers’ Blog
  • eTwinning Prizes 2008 submissions

At national level, each National Support Service (NSS) also organised competitions, activities and events to give eTwinning an extra push at the beginning of the school year. From the feedback received, the impact has been excellent thanks to their efforts.
